I know it's been ... awhile ... since I last blogged, but what a great time to oil up the old gears and get back into sharing our family ins-n-outs with the arrival of another member!!!!
We enjoyed the last few months as a family of four but now as a party of five we feel even more colorful, team-orientated, and complete!!!! The boys are completely and totally enamoured with their baby sister!!! Jake has taken on the self described "protector" role and can't wait till she is bigger so they can play dress up and princess together! Kai has taken Chloe as his own (she is MY baby) and wants to hold her every second of the day!!!! He has to have his pulse on her where-abouts, needs, and going-ons all day and now even early mornings!!! AND he can't wrap his head around and keeps asking, even with our descriptions, how baby came out of my belly. Ahhh... to be three again!!! It is so heartwarming to see both of their hearts opening and blossoming in this new love they have for baby Peanut!!!
Chloe is a wonderful addition to our family!!! She already is so calm, flexible, and patient!!! She latched perfectly, sleeps regularly, settles down in the car, and seems to be only slightly shaken by her big, loud, rough brothers!!!! She has more hair then the boys did and it looks like it will be curly. Her eyes are turning brown. She has the daintiest fingers with long nail beds and tiniest skinny feet! Even with weighing in at the heaviest at birth she already is the smallest statured. She is girl! She is just starting to fit into some of her 0-3 month clothes which means here comes the pink!!! Finally she can begin to try on all the beautiful clothing and accessories she has been given from all of you!!! Thank you SO MUCH! You are all so kind and generous!!!!
