Eric in the Mountains

Eric here. Just now getting to putting my videos and pictures of the fun snowshoe event on Saturday. I ended up going with Scott and a buddy from work, William and his wife Lisa. We had a blast trekking up near Alpental. Ton of snow - if I had to guess it would be 6-8 feet or more. It was snowing most of the day, however there were some areas of patchy breakthroughs, but the visibility was OK. We did manage to get some great views though. I have to say that this is one of the reasons I moved out here. The quality of life is pretty phenomenal. All of this is about 50-60 minutes from my house, so it is really nice to be able to go and play in the snow when you want to. It rained here in Seattle while we were gone. The temperature difference from Seattle to the pass was about 25 degrees difference. Anyway, we had a blast and managed to get some pretty fun video of the troop. Hope you enjoy.
