Off par, I have decided to keep this post short. We are doing well with the new arrival of sunshine these past few weeks! Eric finally got a lawn mower to earn his "man who takes care of yard" badge! Jake finally got to go Whale watching out in the ocean and saw two grey whales fluking and breaching in some fantastic weather! Kai finally started sleeping through the night, eating some dairy, and growing some more teeth! I am still trying to become a mommy-jedi and enjoying the extra zzz's!
We are super thankful that Eric's dad made it through his surgery well and can't wait to see him! He still has a few more surgeries to stint his leg aneurysms, so keep him in your prayers! It's the last few months of his 69th year and hopefully he will bring in this new decade, which I hear is the new fifty, surrounded by good health, friends, and family!
Yeah it's May! I feel like I just broke out of my chrysalis! Enjoy the photos!
We finally went Whale watching for our mini Jacques Cousteau...Mr. Jake Cousteau! His deep love of all sea life but especially whales peaked and our promises to take him whale watching thinned. So we went out one Saturday and had a blast! We saw whales, sea lions, eagles, and more! Jake won over the hearts of the guides and landed some cool whale toys to add to his growing collection! Ask him anything about whales and he can tell you!
We had an unfortunate Sigg bottle go overboard. We had no idea Jake was so attached.
Look at this view! You can't beat it! Ocean, mountains, whales, Oh My!
Just a tad windy!
Mariners vs Tigers! Kai's first official game! He was a big fan! Especially of the popcorn! Jake made friends and really enjoyed the music!
Easter morning was fantastically relaxing! We enjoyed some baskets, went to church and the boys were great, then had a nice brunch, followed by a family dinner. All in all, peace and joy!
