Jake saying Happy Thanksgiving to the Petersen Clan

Look at Jake on the couch just chillin in his Lions pajamas. We thought that the family in Michigan might want to see the little guy, so this was him saying hi on Turkey Day. Happy Holidays and enjoy all the family videos.

GooGoo for Jake

eric here.

so, maria and myself are pretty damn excited about being parents. also not afraid to say we are a bit freaked out, but this kid is so wonderful that you tend to lose that feeling. at any rate, i am staying up late and trying to be a better dad and husband. maria has been dying for sleep and i only hope that i can help her out. tonight i sorta flipped out on her and i hope that doesn't happen again. i hate being that way, especially in our state of being right now as tired and weary parents - fragile and sensitive. hopefully, i get to a better place as a dad, husband, and person.

we have been really trying to get this family web site going and i hope this attempt kick starts us into 2007 in the right direction.

its late, however i have taken the time tonight to reflect on my being which is in need of a makeover of sorts. i hope that i can be more aware of my current thoughts, feelings, and being so that i can keep on going in the right direction. easier said than done when stress has leached its way into our house. somehow we will all move together to eliminate it and replace it with lots of love.

hoping that saturday afternoon, that maria can get away with our friends rainee and eliza to get some much needed pampering and girl time. god only knows she needs that more than anything right now - well god and me. that is why i am going to do my damnedest to stay up and make sure this kid of ours sleeps and gives maria a break. i do have to say that i have added to the stress that both of us have been feeling which is why i started this blog and trying to show to maria that i love her in many ways. this is one of the many ways of showing her. i think we just lost that sense of who we are and were as a couple now that we have had to turn our attention to our baby.

i do have to say that I really love jake so much - he is a mirror of maria and myself and i hope that the reflection is a loving baby boy and person. it should be fun hanging with jake and boys tomorrow. its been a while since i had him by my self for an extended period of time. i only hope that i can make sure he is entertained and taken care of.

i really am going to make a concerted effort to keep this site up to date and information fresh. the only way is to keep posting and adding media.

well that's it for now...good night and happy reading!

WestCoast Bellers First Post!

Hello and welcome to Maria, Eric, and Jake's family blog. We hope that in due time, we will get better at blogging. For now, wer'e confident this will be a pretty minimal blog with content, but hopefully over time, this will be a really fun family log. This blog will be a positive movement within our family and friends because it will allow of us to stay in communication better. Ok, enough ramble, alittle about us - we are a family of 3. Eric of Frankenmuth MI, Maria of Dearborn MI, and Jake of Seattle WA all with the last name of Beller. Currently we hail in Seattle WA where it rains quite often.

Jake is newest member of the Beller family. He represents the family quite well and we are all very proud of the little bugger. Jake has officially met most of his aunts & uncles from our recent trip back to Michigan where we baptized Jake and spent time with our families.
In fact, we took a ton of pictures and videos of that trip.
